Carter Taylor

Hi! I am a second year PhD student studying Mechanical Engineering at Northwestern University focused on advanced manufacturing, process modeling, and data-driven methods for real-world engineering systems.

I am advised by Professor Jian Cao in the Advanced Manufacturing Processes Lab (AMPL). My work is supported by the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship (GRFP).

Before joining Northwestern, I completed my undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University where I earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering with Honors Research Distinction and was named the department’s Outstanding Senior.
