I lead the project and capstone team developing a hybrid forming, milling, and deposition machine, currently under construction.

AMPL Triple is being built to combine press forming, CNC milling, and laser-wire directed energy deposition in one platform for hybrid manufacturing research.
What I do: I lead the project and guide the capstone team from initial concept through design and prototyping. The current design mounts an electric forming actuator directly to the main beam and uses narrower rail-support sections.
Tools and methods: CAD, mechanical design, and prototyping.
